Hello and welcome to my website.

My name is Ida Bloem.
I am a Yin yoga teacher, practitioner of mindfulness and reiki.
From this position I give lectures on the benefits of yoga from an anatomical point of view.

For me life consists of energy and finding
the right balance in its use.
That's why I chose the name Qi center for my company.

Qi, also called chi or ki, cannot be explained in one word. It is a concept from Eastern culture.
Qi is often described as breath,life force, vital energy or spiritual energy. An energy that connects and is part of everything that exists.

Guidance professional musicians

It is possible to hire me to accompany (young) professional musicians.
For example, during music festivals where young talent is given master classes.

Reasons for guidance
Particularly with classical musicians, many repetitive movements often cause physical complaints.
Also, the guidance is a good addition to the Alexander technique.
 It reduces tension and stress and increases mobility because a better balance is created.

What does the guidance consist of
The guidance consists of a lecture over more than an hour.
 Through a powerpoint we discuss the benefits of yoga from an anatomical point of view.
Including:
- What is a natural relaxed posture and how do I burden my body.
- how can yoga contribute to reducing stress, anxiety and physical discomfort.
During the lecture there will be interaction through questions and answers,
some physical exercises and a breathing exercise.

In addition, one or more yoga classes are possible.
During a yoga class, the focus is on experiencing and listening to your body.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a combination of Hatha Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Yin yoga is suitable for everyone, but especially for people with fatigue complaints
  by overstrain, burn out or fibromyalgi.
Yoga reduces tension and stress and increases mobility.

It's not about how flexible you are but that you want to work on yourself and learn to accept yourself.
I teach you to relax and take a moment for yourself.

At Yin yoga the muscles get rest and we focus on stimulating the deeper connective tissue
such as ligaments and tendons and joints.

Yoga Retreats and Travel

Schiermonnikoog
Every autumn Qi center organizes a weekend retreat on Schiermonnikoog.
Various forms of yoga are practiced during the weekend,
we enjoy nature
we discuss how you can be more mindful in life and
a visit to the picking garden for fresh vegetables and herbs should not be missed.
The meals are based on Ayurveda

Norway
In the spring Qi center organizes mindful walking trips to Norway.
Norway stands for pure for me.
The untouched nature and space are for me the ideal place to relax,
to (re)discover yourself, to enjoy yourself and of course to practice yoga.
